b o o k i n g c o n d i t i o n s p h o t o t r a v e l w i t h G e o f f S i m p s o n P h o t o g r a p h y L t d Is committed to a policy of fair trading and all possible care is taken to ensure that you have a successful and enjoyable holiday. All bookings are governed by the booking conditions set out below in addition to any special requirements for each holiday which will be made known to you prior to the acceptance of your reservation. 1. b o o k i n g y o u r h o l i d a y a) To ensure your reservation you should complete and sign the booking form, including all passenger names, and forward the complete booking form to VisionWild Photo Travel with the stated deposit. If you are booking within 10 weeks of departure then full payment is required. b) A contract will exist as soon as we issue a Confirmation Invoice. This contract is made under the terms of the booking conditions which are governed by English law and both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts at all times. If for any reason we do not except your booking, your deposit will be returned. c) Special requests should be made on the booking form or submitted in writing. We will try to arrange for Special Requests to be met, but cannot guarantee that they will be, nor the Company be liable if any Special Request is not met. d) All correspondence will be sent to the address of the first person named on the booking form unless you specify otherwise. If you request correspondence through a business address, a residential address will also be required for emergencies. 2. a m e n d m e n t s a n d c a n c e l l a t i o n s a) Amendments by you The company will make every effort to assist you if you wish to alter your arrangements. Requests for amendments must be in writing and signed by the signatory of the Booking Form. If your request is received more than 42 days before departure you must pay an amendment fee of £25 per booking, together with all communication charges or other expenses incurred by the Company. These charges are payable whether or not we succeed in confirming your requested amendment. If your request is received 42 days or less before departure, it may be treated as cancellation and normal cancellation charges as detailed in paragraph b) below may apply. b) Cancellation by you All cancellations must be advised in writing, and signed by the signatory of the Booking Form and sent to us at Geoff Simpson Photography Ltd. Cancellations are effective on the day they are received by the Company and Recorded Delivery is recommended. The following cancellation charges will be payable, depending upon the number of days prior to departure the Company receives your notice of cancellation.
We regret the need for these charges but these are to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to re-sell the holiday. All clients are required to have insurance cover. Reimbursement for cancellation charges can be made if your claim falls within the terms of the insurance policy. c) Amendments by the Company Great care is taken to ensure that the descriptions and prices given are accurate at the time of publication. However, as you will appreciate, your holiday arrangements are planned months in advance and on rare occasions it may be necessary to make modifications to them and we reserve the right to make such changes at any time. In the majority of cases such changes will be minor but if they are of a more substantial nature - we will notify you in writing immediately. The Company will notify you as soon as practicably possible and offer you two choices. You may accept the modification, you may cancel and receive a full refund following majeure or low bookings. Force Majeur means unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the Company's control, the consequence of which neither the Company nor its suppliers could avoid, including, but not limited to, war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity (actual or threatened), industrial dispute, technical problems with transport, machinery or equipment, power failure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, airport closures, adverse weather conditions, including flood, drought or low river levels. "Low Bookings" means that an insufficient number of people have booked the arrangements to make their operation financially viable in the advertised form. Cancellation by the Company as a result of low bookings will not be made after the balance date (i.e. 6 weeks prior to departure). If there is a minor modification before departure (i.e. any change not included in the definition of significant modification set out above), we will try to notify you, although we are not obliged to do so, nor are we obliged to pay any compensation. If the Company becomes unable to provide a significant portion of your holiday after it has commenced, suitable alternative arrangements will be made for you at no extra charge. d) Cancellation by the Company If you fail to pay the balance of the holiday price at least 6 weeks prior to departure. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ all content © Geoff Simpson Photography Ltd 2000-2008 • all rights reserved |
