Atlantic Salmon, Northern England.

One of the wonders of natural world is to witness atlantic salmon leaping a dramatic waterfall in spate. While I had already secured a number of close-up frames I wanted to show in this frame the shear power of the waterfall and what atlantic salmon have to conquer in order to reach their spawning grounds. It is almost impossible to predict exactly where the fish would appear and it was simply a matter of lighting fast reactions and to some degree an element of luck.
