For those of you who prefer to work alone Geoff offers exclusive one-to-one, one-to-two or private group tuition suitable for groups of friends, photographic club / society members. These days are designed to suit the discerning photographer wanting to make the most of the unique photographic opportunities that the Peak District National Park can present. No matter what your ability Geoff will take you on location, help you set-up and compose outstanding photographs which have impact and stand out from the crowd. Advise on topics such as how to determine correct exposure; which metering pattern to use in difficult lighting situations; using digital blending techniques; filters for landscapes; selecting and controlling depth-of-field. Digital workflow is a topic fraught with pitfalls all will be explained in detail. Geoff will also provide a personal critique of any photographs you bring along.
Geoff's unsurpassed knowledge of the Peak District's wildlife and locations will ensure that photographic opportunities abound. His demeanour and experience allow for an inspiring interaction which ensures that the tuition will be pitched at your ability, so whether you an absolute beginner or a more experienced photographer you will learn an incredible amount. For many years Geoff has been providing outstanding photographic tuition and courses at Losehill Hall Peak District National Park Education Centre in the heart of our most popular national park. By invitation he has also lectured and led field trips for students attending the Wildlife Photography BA (Hon's) degree course at The Blackpool & Fylde College.
